this is a title

and this is a blog entry. wow, new wordpress looks very swanky. and where is mr hansiong who hasn’t blogged for so long? in fact, he’s gone awol ever since barack won. what’s going on?

today i met a customer who treated me the shittiest any customer has ever treated me. in the blink of an eye, the experience made me question what i am doing with my life, my career, et al. where am i headed? what are my aspirations? is everything gone to the dogs? siao liao.

  1. Being in the shoe of a business man usually leaves one in a better position to choose who to not deal with, but in the early years of the sales industry I found myself in a similar position. Learning from the experience, the one who needs the deal less will always have the upperhand over any negotiation. Let’s never find ourselves in such a compromising position again..

  2. It’s true, the negotation weighing scale. I did briefly consider pulling out of the deal midway, but my mantra has been ‘exercise restraint’. and so i exercised restraint, held my tongue and checked my temper, and did what i had to do.

    exercising restraint has always paid out for me eventually, in my opinion. in my youth, i was more often rash and impatient and did foolish things whenever i got hot and bothered about things.

    perhaps it is a sign of maturity too.
